Avian Antics

Fifteen minutes before today's blip, this American Robin had (1) captured a plump worm; (2) after several aborted tries, managed to choke it down (see extras); (3) spent considerable time contemplating the view from the fence, while trying to digest said worm (extras); and finally, surprising me by darting off (today's blip)!

The Black-Capped Chickadees carried on filling themselves with ease at one of the feeders on our deck, with brief intervals to rest (extras) in the delicate branches of our largest Japanese maple, which now reaches above the second-story deck.

Mother Nature is endlessly enchanting!
