Busy day

Why does everything always happen at once? After several empty days, this morning was complicated. Normous already had a 12 noon dental appointment when we were invited out to lunch to celebrate a friend's 85th birthday. We thought we could manage that, but then out of the blue I was given a hospital appointment for 11.20 in a different town. We managed to meet both appointments and were pleased to arrive on time for lunch in a stylish restaurant that was new to us. A happy party of six enjoyed an excellent meal and afterwards went back to the birthday girl's home for a cup of tea.
Home now for an hour before going out to read for Talking Newspaper for the Blind.
