Merry Christmas!!

Why do many alpine ski resorts keep Christmas going all season? I love the festive lights, but in my opinion, the baubles and and red scarved snowmen seem a little out of place by Easter. Although, in a way, I kind of like it. It makes the holiday seem even more fairytale-like.

Sadly this blip is Morzine in the rain. Not what we ordered. The snow on the pistes is good though and rain down here no doubt means fresh powder higher up.
