Dipper

As it was a pleasant morning, we went for a wander along the river. The water was lower and slower than it has been for a while which was good news for the creatures that live along the edges. This included Dippers - we saw this one on our way out and in a nearby spot on our way back, seemingly building a nest in a drainage pipe. There were plenty of other birds too - Grey Wagtails, Nuthatches and lots of noisy Robins and Wrens.
There were still plenty of Elfcups on the usual spot.
