On High Alert

I spent a little time today watching our "boss" Robin. This is his favourite songpost, a lopped branch in our neighbours' damson tree. He often spends quite a while there watching, preening and singing. In extras, he's clearly spotted something.
While the weather was quite good, I did a little bit of gardening and as it has been such a long time since we had a holiday, I booked a short break for after the Easter hols. Nice to have something to look forward to!
