Almost

Good Friday and the first Pasque Flower is almost open.  Another couple of days should do it .... were it not for the rather wintry weather on it's way.  Whatever the fate of this bloom, the pulsatillas will live up to their common name and brighten much of the Paschal season.

Before the rain arrived, I did a bit more tidying up outside and put a new cold frame in place for  cyclamen.  I say 'new' but it's actually a rather decrepit old one that some friends wanted rid of.  A little tlc and it will provide some shelter for cyclamen in a shady corner.  Moving indoors I potted up the last of the hot water plants (Achimenes) and cooked mushroom quiche for tea.

A busy few days ahead - off on our travels again soon.
