Trafalgar Square...

We joined the crowds on this Good Friday to watch a performance of The Passion of Christ by the Wintershall company of players. It was excellently done. A difficult story to enact.

The rain started just after we arrived and was then steady and at times heavy but we're glad we went. No umbrellas allowed so as not to obstruct the view of others but we all had hoods...And nothing that a hot shower couldn't cure when we got home.

Wintershall Estate is at Bramley near Guildford, Surrey. The website is www.wintershall-estate.com. It's great that they've been using the setting of Trafalgar Square for the Easter story for the last few years. My photo is taken while we were waiting for the performance to begin.
