FIREY'S FUN

Another short walk, just now, at the local park.
Today, and the remainder of the weekend, the Volunteer Fire Fighters Games are happening.  They conduct the event at our local park every Easter.  There were teams from Eastern Australia and many from the west.
I was hoping for better photos however, this is it.
I was informed by one of the fireys this drill is called 'Pumping'.  The team starts at the fire truck (#1 Extra and main blip) with connecting hoses for water, then a lot of running with the hose to the first marker (red), the team has to hit the marker with the water (or not-mainblip), continue to the next marker and hit that as well.  Phew.  After they have hit the first marker the hose nozzle is removed and that nozzle is then connected to the host to enable the water to hit the yellow marker.  An awful lot of precision and sometimes none.  What fun.
If I have misinformed you about any of events, please let me know.
The team from Dandenong (#2 extra) were very good, in my opinion.
The wind made it difficult to catch a snap - you either captured the shot and got wet or missed out.
You do have to laugh at the main blip with the runner ducking the water.
Thank you to admirer for her continued hosting of the challenge on Saturdays.

I wasn't able to source any further information on the history of the games.
Below is a video of recent games at our park.

I've added in the full moon tonight  coming up behind the trees - a blue moon I believe.
