There are three depictions.

This is Kippford.    Boyhood holidays were normally spent on the Solway Coast - Sandyhills, or Rockliffe - just a short walk across the Muckle Hill from Kippford.   Always a favourite spot for yacht owners from Dumfries to keep their boats and take part in regattas.
