April the first

A new month. . .  
Took Max for a walk around the block and then fellow blipper Terrifo and self headed off to Exmoor as it was not raining.
We saw deer, sheep and ponies - but no highland cows...boo hoo. 
We found somewhere to park and went for a short, wet plod over the heath - Max loved it (kept him on the lead due to the animals around - not sure how he'd react) and I got wet feet again. Wish I had webbed feet at the moment - there is just so much water around even the moor is sodden!
This pony appeared to be hunting out the grass growing in the heather. Still got her winter coat on sensibly! There were still drifts of snow out there. The car temp said 5 degrees.
A lovely drive - such a beautiful place. Every season brings new treats!
