We went for a drive, at dinnertime, over the Stiperstones and had a shock as we approached Pennerley --- more snow on the hills!
The Bog, ( Real place ) has a visitors centre that has a lot of interesting information about the local area's lead mining, that took place from Roman times, up to the turn of the 20th century.
As we drove higher, to the "Devil's Chair", the snow was 3 to 4 inches deep, yet over the brow of the hill, there was none.
Let's hope that's it for this year !
