Back blip

Our Ramblers walk on Wednesday took us to the north of Dunfermline, but not, on this occasion, into the town itself. As it had been a while since I last walked through Pittencrieff Park, I decided to make a return visit on Thursday afternoon.

My route from the bus station down to the park passed Dunfermline Abbey, where the bones of Robert the Bruce are said to be interred. I didn't go inside on this occasion or visit the adjacent palace ruins, but settled for a photo (or more!) before moving on to the park.
