100 Years Ago Today

My maternal grandfather, known to us as Gramps, was a member of the Royal Naval Air Service which merged with the Royal Flying Corps to form the RAF 100 years ago today.  Some time later, for a book he recalled what the RNAS servicemen thought about the merger.  He was the 'one aviator' whose words are recorded here.
