A day at Lake Vyrnwy

It's lovely having my son and family staying for Easter. Today the weather was good so we had a trip to Lake Vyrnwy which is a reservoir built in the 19th Century to provide water for Liverpool.

We had a picnic then walked to the waterfall. My granddaughter was carried part way in the sling but she likes to walk now so did a bit of the trail herself. Here they are having a drink stop at the waterfall.

We then went to look at the birds in the hide before heading for home.
A good day was had by all.
