Dog and Hedgehog

Awake in the night, trying to work out how we could leave Lula for the night; we are going to Faro to pick up twelve people, and I will have to drive one of the cars back, really didn't want to do it on the same day as driving there. Haven't driven that much in Portugal and still makes me nervous.

Anyway, long story short, but Mourão's vet was happy to have him, especially as he's not vaccinated yet, so shouldn't be with older dogs. So grateful to him and his wife.

Whose boots you see here with their pet hedgehog, Aspargo, who they found as a baby (she's a biologist) with a motor neuron problem that would have meant certain death in the wild. Lula was fascinated.

And so, here we are in our usual place in Faro. The sky was bright pink as we drove across the causeway, so hoping that means good weather tomorrow; been raining and cold since we got here.
