Looping Homewards

So many photos I wanted to post today, this was the last one, coming back from Villanueva del Fresno, just over the border in Spain, thought it would be rubbish, couldn't see properly, looking into the sun, and Mike unhappy at stopping, but I love it - our own Mourão, with its damaged castle, and the shining wires looping homewards.

Went to order a water tank, they were all closed yesterday, recovering from the Gurumelo Festival. Then we went to look at the Lake on that side, stood in utter silence, surrounded by the resiny smell of rock roses covering the hillsides, until a cricket started up, and then a sheep's bell.

João Borrego came this morning, bright and early, and made great progress on installing the piping that Mike had been working on when his retina went, plus cutting a channel through the wall for the drainage.

Gratefuls:
- misty morning, diamonds all along the clothesline
- progress on the plumbing
- the sound of silence
