Autumn Crocus

These are in our Botanical Gardens,...I usually photograph them yearly and I think I was a little late as many were lying down looking rather sad.

We both pottered out in the garden this morning, the weather nice and warm still.  Loving this time of the year, 22 deg today, tomorrow 24 deg.  Bliss.

What an exciting afternoon in the cricket - England v NZ - some would ask how a test match that has lasted 5 days could give so much drama and then come out with a draw.  Doug and I were glued to the telly.  Our boys came away with a series win, only the second time since 1983.  The Balmy Army were very (I mean VERY) vocal.  The game played in very good spirit - well done both sides.
