Solway Firth

This is taken from the village of Bowness-on-Solway looking across towards Scotland.   It is the point where Hadrian Wall starts at its western end.

We came up here on our way to Carlisle to buy a mirror.  It's a bit of a devious route I know but very pretty in a bleak sort of way.

Weather was dreadful this morning
