One of my treasures

Looking for feathers this week.  My Uncle Bill bought this mask for me in 1994 when he was here for our daughter's wedding.  He was my mum's only brother and a right character.  I loved listening to his stories in that broad Glaswegian accent that he never lost even after living in Canada for years.  Wonderful to have treasures like this that hold special memories of people I love, and I sure loved my Uncle Bill.
Extra: We had a new wood stove installed today.  The damper on the old one wasn't working anymore so we couldn't control the heat.  This one loads from the front instead of the top but I'm sure we'll get used to it quickly.
