Beyond Autumn

I say 'Beyond Autumn' because the temperatures have dropped here in South Yorkshire and the first flurry of snow fell in the night.

However, it's a beautiful, crisp day so I headed out and collected some of the richly coloured fallen leaves to bring home and play with photographically. It's been a long time since I got my macro lens out so it was a very satisfying hour trying to capture the vibrancy and structure of this magnificently veined leaf with the natural light I had streaming through the window.

I hope it has worked but only those who read my journal will be able to tell me...
