A Mystery

Are these the same plant?
They started equally cropped.
Only one burgeons.

The others take time.
I follow daily progress
praying for their growth.

I would like to know
slow plants like me can flourish
and bloom in their time.

ADDENDUM (April 11)
This is the poem I wrote and chose not to post. (See my response to waipushrink below.) With judicious editing, I've decided to share it.

SOIL

Some hypothesize
these plants vary as to light —
waipushrink says, Soil.

His answer arrives
just as I'm considering
where to plant myself!

This soil supports me.
waipushrink's reply was timed
to speak God's urging:

"Your green season nears.
Bloom where I have planted you.
In this soil you'll thrive."
