Tree surgery

Today the tree surgeon, or "Bucheron" arrived to fell a tree opposite us which was in poor health and posing a danger to a nearby chalet. He seemed to have no fear of heights whatsoever, and shimmied up to the top of the tree in seconds. Here he is chopping off chunks of the trunk as he comes down again. Certainly a more professional performance than our own efforts last year.
