Stars...

Something I've been wanting to do for a long time... photograph the night sky and to that end I recently acquired an EQ motorised mount. This evening was the first time the stars were visible so I've been practising setting the thing up and getting it aligned. The photo is a wide field view of some stars taken just to test out the tracking... it seems to be almost spot on.

Now I'd better start learning which stars are what!
