Weeping Window (FF6_2018)

The weeping window at Hereford Cathedral - 5000 of the poppies that were at the Tower of London are on a tour and in Hereford until the end of April. 

They are quite a sight and it is possible to get quite close. Patience might be needed to get a clear shot of the whole scene but I did manage one or two, and also a couple with only one person looking at them.  I chose this image as I like the shadows the poppies make on the ground.

Photographers might do better in the late afternoon,  we were there around 14:00 when the sunlight is moving round to light them up,  but it is difficult to keep the sun itself out of the frame.
