blue tit

My nesting box camera shows that our garden blue tits have just about finished their nest so we are just awaiting the eggs to appear now, exciting.
The box was not used last year, the year before one adult died and the remaining one became so exhausted feeding that the chicks perished and probably the adult as well. It was horrendous to watch. The first year was a great success when the chicks fledged. Nature can be cruel but we are hoping for a good story this year.
