Which way?

I am not quite sure which way is up, or east or west.........

This is the tippy top of the lighthouse at South Mole, Fremantle (see extra) which has just had a new and very bright green paint job. I have always thought of lighthouses as being white, or maybe red. But green?? Anyway, it looks lovely against the blue sky.
