Snail hideaway...

... Four up, two down?

It's in a tiny nook in the wall.

A slow photo day.
Though I was tempted to blip the house.
We have had a window-cleaning fest and hardly recognise it as ours.
(Turns out it's also much lighter outside than we thought :-o !).
Arms and shoulders aching now, we are set for a quiet night in.

I also met with one of the neighbours (we're still the newbies on the block here) who tells me that he regularly sees a kingfisher.
I shall be much more on the alert for that possibility than I was. Though I have seen one once (and only captured a blurry picture) I had imagined it was a rare occurrence. I live and learn.

Snails though?
I never knew they had parties.
