Woodhorn

Today involved a trip to the Woodhorn museum near Ashington. Woodhorn was once one of the coal mines in the area, but since it's closure in the mid 1980's has moved to become a museum to the life and times of the miners. It was interesting and enjoyable.

Following this, we headed down to near Newcastle to visit Mum for a meal.

In the evening I popped out to get a picture or two of the nearby wind turbines at sunset. Needed a little more planning and time really.
