True Blue

Gentian blue.  Nothing quite like it.

The first of several buds on Gentiana acaulis opened on the warmest day of the year so far.  Sunshine delivered a few other nice pics and made the choice harder than I had expected when I stepped outside and took this, my first photo of the day.  I've put one extra in for pulsatilla fans.

A good mornings basketball for Jamie.  I made up some cards while chatting with friends.  Some time in the garden was well spent and J & I looked at arbours at a garden centre without finding what we want for the shady corner I have been working on. Tonight we watched Out of Africa.  I'd not seen it before, loved the economical dialogue amongst other things.
