1261. New Vase....

WE have had a very lazy day so far today....took a wee trip out to a local Antiques Centre which is always worth a visit...

Not looking for anything specific but we came across this rather nice vase made by Sea Glasbruk and it's called  "Particle" designed by Rune Strand the 1960's...we love Scandinavian art glass and this makes a very welcome addition to our collection plus it can be used for the silk flowers we keep on our dining table....these flowers were my wedding bouquet and they're looking not too bad considering that they're 14 years old!

The vase is made by Sea Glasbruk from Kosta so I'm going to look it up online to see if I can find out anything about it or the designer as it's rather beautiful.

Had a bit of a tidy up (of sorts) in our spare bedroom which currently houses my son's dining table and chairs for his new house...plus a couple of Italian inlaid side tables which he's also taking when he moves into his new place.  He should get the keys on Tuesday so he's all excited about that and it means that we will get our spare room back too!
