Alternate time

I needed to be at an early meeting but having switched on the machine at 5.50am and being informed of a 1hour 20 cycle I expected in to be complete when I got home from my run.

At 7:20 am it said 12 minutes remained.  It finally finished at 7:40 and was hung out to try in a fashion that my mother would be horrified at.  I commented to a colleague about how ridiculaous my annoyance over it was .  First world problem.  Mother often wishes she could re-hang her neighbours laundry.  There again she irons underwear.  I've not inherited those particular traits.
