Dhow at sunset

We were collected from the bungalows and taken to Stone town today. On the way though we stopped off for a spice tour.
Not quite what I was expecting as we were dropped off in some trees while a couple of your guys took us around what seemed to be a bit of local woodland. However it was interesting seeing all the different spices that they grow and the guide's sidekick did make some fantastic things out of the vines and leaves. Seemed that the intent was to make the tourists look as silly as possible.
Made out way to the hotel in time to have the afternoon wondering around Stone town. Seems to be a nice place, very colonial.
Managed to get back to the hotel for G&T as the sun went down.
Dinner was in an Indian restaurant just up from the hotel and very nice as well.
