Figgy pudding

Gym✔️

We were off for lunch to catch up with an old friend. The Stables Bar was the venue of choice because it's dog friendly, and there's plenty of parking. And you can go for a walk afterwards.

We caught up with Liz and her globe trotting life, visiting children and grandchildren all over the world! Well, Sydney, Spain and the north of Scotland.

We had, predictably, the breaded haddock and chips (and mushy peas), though there is a fantastic menu. Archie is actually looking at his own treat on the table. I managed some figgy pudding too.

We then went for a walk on muddy country lanes. Of course, Archie went into every muddy puddle, and even ate some lovely mud. He kept stopping and peering in the neighbouring fields at the horses, fascinated. I've looked on the map now we're home, and the possibilities for walking paths are endless. When it's not so muddy, we'll try some of these longer walks.

Archie found some broken sunglasses and of course, insisted on posing with them (Extra).
