Alice’s Class

Along our basic walkie, there is this outdoor classroom. There is one teacher’s desk - this one - and thirty or so benches and tables for students. I thought maybe I should have my own class! For dogs and humans.

We’d start with Languages and communication in the morning. Lots of practical exercises. Insights into the finer points of dog-human communication. Interpret the bark. Etc.

Then all dogs can have naps on their mats while the humans study boring yet useful things like Behavioral sciences, Dog and Human Psychology, Ethology and more.

Conveniently, there is an open fireplace in the middle of the classroom, where everyone can cook their sausage/burger for lunch. After that, it’s Games and sports! One dog sport every day, like agility, nosework and freestyle. There will be lots of guest teachers. On Fridays, we finish the day with Make your own dog treats.
