Loch Rannoch

It was Baltic overnight with a hard frost, but the morning was stunning as we drove round to Roy Bridge. The blip is of the view from the east end of Loch Rannoch looking towards Glen Coe with Buchaille Etive Mor prominent in the background. We decided to go up the Munros of Stob Coire Sgriodain and Chno Dearg; it was cold and we wore crampons quite a lot of the time above 600 metres but there was no wind most of the time so a thermal vest was quite adequate most of the day. The extras are the head of Loch Treig from Stob Coire Sgriodain and some rather fine snow layers on the top.
Yesterday’s blip.
