... a female chaffinch. I’m not confident enough of my ornithology to say for sure. I don’t think she really has a crested head - just the wind ruffling her feathers. Some welcome sunshine this morning.

Enjoying a quiet morning before things gear up a bit this afternoon and evening. I’m off to pick some cuttings from a friend’s garden later. I’m very keen to get into the garden but it just doesn’t feel quite warm enough yet. I think we’re promised something better next week though.
