I suppose if you’re a familiar face,
a celebrity, you often get delayed
en route; you learn to pose
with a fan and not to lose
your cool if they invade your space.

Perhaps you should make
the most of any adulation
that comes your way. Don’t take
it for granted or
risk tarnishing your reputation.

One day your star
might fade and your familiar
face could disappear.
People will no longer have a clue
quite who you are.
