A Funny Thing Happened....

on the way to coffee. We went over to the Maybird Centre, Stratford's answer to the 'out-of-town' shopping mall, though it isn't really, only being a short walk from the town centre, but being supplied with a large car park so people don't have to walk, also responsible for some of the empty shops in the town centre as they can open larger premises in the 'suburbs'.

Matalan was always out there, so we don't feel too bad in frequenting it every now and then, unlike Next, Argos, M&S etc. that have all moved out there from the centre.

Anyway, afterwards we walked back to Henley Street to visit our favourite coffee shop. It was as we were entering Henley Street that I spotted two amusing blips in quick succession. Not being able to decide, I present both to you - Shakespeare's Fool playing football with a pumpkin and the man himself, checking his phone for messages outside the library. I'm not sure who Will was expecting a text from, but he was most engrossed, as for the pumpkin, well I waited for him to kick it up onto his shoulders, but gave up after a while - coffee called.

It rained for the rest of the afternoon so we lit a fire and snuggled up with the papers.
