Portrait of a Jay

This fine fellow was helping himself to peanuts this afternoon on the doorstep along with a squirrel and a chipmunk. They were all sharing nicely for once.

I worked a few hours on my painting, I'm working on my grandfather's Doughboy uniform at the the moment and having fun.

We're off to a Story Slam tonight in the cozy library where we had our wedding reception. Gregory is helping with it, perhaps he'll tell a story, I know we're there  just to listen and laugh.

This day came in sunny and warm with increasing clouds and a few sprinkles.
