1267. Norwegian Silver and Enamel Brooch

Here is one of my auction buys from Thursday...a Norwegian Silver and Blue Enamelled Brooch....it is by a designer called Aksel Holmsen and I have no idea how old it is but I suspect it's vintage rather than antique.  I just think it is the most beautiful blue colour and I got it for much less than I expected as Scandinavian Silver seems very popular at the auction.

Up early this morning ready for a swim then on into town for our usual Saturday lunchtime family get together at the pub....
