Ladybower

Annie and I (Chris) took Immy back up to university in York. It's about a 3.5 hour drive but we stopped for lunch and then a supermarket stock up for Immy, before dropping her at her accomodation. Hard to believe this is the start of her third term.

Rather than come all the way home again today, Annie had booked us in a hotel in Bakewell in the Peak District this evening. We took a cross-country drive from York and with some sunshine enjoyed some spectacular scenery. We stopped a couple of times, in the extras is a shot of the Boot's folly at Sugworth Hall near Strines Reservoir. The main blip is of Ladybower Reservoir, a little further toward Bakewell.

We've just been out for a fabulous meal in Bakewell and then a little walk around the very pretty town. Hoping for more of this sunshine and warm temperatures tomorrow.
