Leanachan

A while back there used to be a chocolate bar commercial on TV. It featured swimming costume clad beautiful people wandering about in some idyllic palm tree covered tropical island with seductive back ground music, and then the voice over said something like; "The Bounty Hunters they came in search of paradise......"

We could have a Scottish version; say "The Goretex Hunters they came in search of miserable constant pouring rain and found it here in Lochaber"

It was wet alright, not so bad feeling once you were out in it, M and I took Bruce and Caley for a circuit at Leanachan. Its funny when its absolutely bucketing down you don't get the droplets clinging to the vegetation like this. It takes a special light but constant drizzle, like a constant soaking mist, to drape the grass this way.

It is difficult to get this shot, not only because it really screams out tripod, but because crouching for more than 5 seconds has Caley jumping in front of you with a big stick saying "Me, me, me, photograph me" and destroying the lovely pattern in front of the lens.

Anyway we are back working up a mountain side (top) in the morning. The forecast suggests another day in paradise for the goretex hunters.

(And of course there are many other waterproof fabrics available)
