The Fourth Plinth, Trafalgar Square

The fourth plinth is now occupied by a replica Lamassu, a winged deity. The original was originally dating from 700 BC was at Nineveh, near modern day Mosul but was destroyed by ISIS in 2015.
The replica is made from empty Iraqi date syrup cans by Michael Rakowitz and was unveiled dy Sadiq Khan in March this year.
