The  petals' shapes seem to show better in black and white.
The anthers with the pollen show up beautifully against the paler petals. Such a gorgeous flower and at their best now. Spring is almost here - sun is trying to push through the cloud and it is pleasant enough outside to sit out with my coffee! Yeah...ooooh - but look at those weeds. Best get to work!
