Behold bee-fly

There must have been hundreds of Dark-edged bee-flies (Bombylius major) around the primroses at Dancersend Reserve during patches of sunshine this afternoon. They are wonderful to watch, but I'm desperately trying to find the much rarer Dotted bee-fly (Bombylius disclor) this year, never seen at the reserve, but recorded nearby.
