Bonebreaker

I hope my facts on this are right! Please correct me if I’m wrong.

The blip is of the former Bishopton House belonging to the Brisbane family. The Gold Coast Town featuring recently in sporting circles was founded by a member of the family.

This house is 17th century, revamped in the early 20th century and is now part of the Cora foundation.

We were there, next to the Good Shepherd Centre in Bishopton for a meeting of the Secure Care Strategic Board. The main topic for today was the vision and purpose for the next few decades. Lots of discussion as we teased out the framework within which the work of the board will be taken forward.

Back along a feee flowing M8 to Edinburgh and the office before a family meal out.

The reference in the blip title is to the Brisbane name derived from the French for bonebreaker.
