Sgurr Coire Choinnichean

It had snowed overnight again, but just like yesterday cleared from the north west to leave a lovely late winter’s day. There was far less wind than yesterday and it felt quite warm in the sun as we climbed the Corbett of Sgurr Coire Choinnichean with our friend R. The others had all gone to Luinne Bheinn, but we fancied something less stressful. The blip shows S and R on their way back up to the summit from a subsidiary top overlooking Inverie. There was no need of crampons today on our hill but they were vital on Luinne Bheinn. The extra is a panorama of the Cuillins on Skye (Black and Red).
Yesterday’s blip.
