Flightpath

Day One of our 2 day conference.  

I left the house at 6:45 to go for the train. And to give praise where praise is due, Deutsche Bahn ran pretty much on time.

The place where our conference took place is a little, how-shall-we-say, out of the way.  Or as you would say in German "der Arsch der Welt".  There was really nothing there except for the offices of loads of sports associations, and the Eintracht Frankfurt stadium.

It is - as you can see from the Blip - not far from the airport.  I lost count of the number of planes that flew over.

It was a very busy day though.  We conferenced until 7 in the evening.  And then we took a break and reconvened for food and a few drinks.  I couldn't eat anything though - we'd already had sandwiches and cake in the morning, an All You Can Eat buffet lunch, then cake and sandwiches in the afternoon.  I just can't eat that much.

It was good fun though.
