Substantial Shadows

I was doing something with my son (I forget what) when I looked out and saw the what the late afternoon light was doing with the tree in our back yard. So I stepped out quickly and as I started taking a few shots I saw that the neighbour's house had got in on the act, printing its presence on the broad high wall of our house. Sometimes shadows appear more substantial than the objects (or people) that throw them.
