Paddy's Wigwam

Is the name given by certain irreverent Liverpudlians to this distinctly imaginative Roman Catholic Cathedral here in Liverpool.
Strange to relate the same nickname is given by some to the equally striking R C cathedral in Bristol.
But who thought of it first?
My bet would be on the Liverpudlians.
